With music by renowned composer Gareth Glyn, performed by the Welsh National Opera Orchestra, this Welsh-language opera film is a genre-bending exploration of grief, memory, mental illness and the power of artistic creation. As a writer takes a train journey home at night, he is forced to confront the memory of events which led to his mother’s institutionalisation decades before. Inspired by scenes from the classic of Welsh literature, “Un Nos Ola Leuad”.
