Two artists that explore landscape through paint, drawing deeply from observation, memory and the experience of being in, and walking through the landscape. Sam Vicary presents multiple viewpoints often looking outwards through a window onto the landscape beyond, while Catrin Llwyd creates an experience that looks at the landscape and its dwellings from the outside, looking inwards. Both create quiet contemplative works that capture suspended moments – times when thought settles and the world seems momentarily still.
