Black and White Photography Show 2025

These photos are a selection of images from our photography classes this year. To create these pictures we use ‘old fashioned’ techniques; film cameras and the Arts Centre’s chemical darkroom. The photographers spend hours attending to detail painting with light, creating these images. Our friendly black and white photography course runs on a Thursday evening 6:30 – 8:30. We have a relaxed two hour session open to all abilities and experience levels from total beginner, to very experienced.

Our tutor Brian has had many years experience working with both digital and chemical processes, as well as being an accomplished musician and a land artist.

He is a knowledgeable group facilitator having spent many years working alongside our former very popular tutor Steve Bailey, and is on hand to offer friendly assistance whatever style of image making you are interested in.
