Two cultures, one story—discover the journey between Sierra Leone and the Netherlands
Uppa is a personal story told by James Sesay, who serves as both the narrator and performer. Through his storytelling, James reflects on his upbringing between Sierra Leone and the Netherlands, offering a powerful look at the contrasts between the two cultures, traditions, and languages.
This performance not only shares his journey but also invites the audience to consider the rich histories and vibrant identities of both countries.
Will be taking place on Wednesday 21st 7:30pm and Thursday 22nd of May 2;30pm. At the castle Theatre in Aberystwyth.
