To start the festival, we have a great Aberystwyth favourite, Sinfonia Cymru, who never fail to inspire us with their amazing performances; here joined by N’famady Kouyaté.
Winner of Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition 2023, N’famady Kouyaté is a Guinea-born singer and multi-instrumentalist, now living in Cardiff. Come and experience new arrangements of N’famady’s music, his incredible vocals and balafon playing skills alongside Sinfonia Cymru’s string quart and percussion. Expect a dynamic mix of international styles, fusing West-African rhythms and melodies with classical and folk sounds.
