Running Time: Doors open at 6.30 pm, with the author's talks starting from 7 pm. Each author will read from and give talks on their books and take audience questions. You will also have the opportunity to buy signed copies of the books. Approx finish 9.30 pm
Queer Lit Quarterly is an evening of book talks and book signing hosted by Gayberystwyth Books with the support of Aberration Cymru. This is an opportunity to meet queer authors and researchers, who will read from their books, speak about their motivation and the writing process and take questions from the audience, finishing the evening with a panel discussion. If you love Queer literature, this is the perfect event for you!
Authors who will be speaking about their books:
Laura Clarke, author of 'Step Bi Step: The Ultimate Guide for Bisexual, Pansexual and Queer Young People' (will be newly published in September)
Iqbal Hussain, debut novelist, author of Northern Boy, described as: 'Billy Elliot meets Bend It Like Beckham in this unforgettable debut about aiming high and defying expectation - the perfect uplit read this year.'
Cheryl Morgan - of Wizard's Tower Press, a trans owned independent publisher in Carmarthen. She will be talking about their work in pubishing novels such as 'Welcome to Boy.Net' by Lyda Morehouse
Holly Stars, a rising star in the world of drag, comedian and writer. Promoting her debut novel 'Murder in the Dressing Room', the paperback release is coming at the end of August (first published in hardback June last year). "Agatha Christie meets RuPaul in this thrilling new murder mystery!"
