Rafaela, a young nun in a dwindling order, is sent on a quiet pilgrimage with one mandate: return with hope for her congregation’s survival. Guided by visions and restless doubt, she travels toward a newly appointed archbishop - moving through landscapes where faith collides with self-interest, privilege, and contradiction. On the road she meets fellow pilgrims who fail her, a paratrooper who offers companionship in silence, and a powerful couple who embody material certainty. Each encounter becomes a test, forcing Rafaela to ask what devotion means in a fractured world.
