Water Worship
Generally used in religious and spiritual rituals as a means of purification, healing and renewal, water worship was part of pagan religion and was incorporated into Christianity. This stained glass sculptural piece evokes a church window, water drops, maps and the form of the Welsh rivers from the air. This work was made as part of ‘Natur am Byth!’ species recovery and engagement programme in collaboration with ‘Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau’ and Marine Conservation Society.
