Ffion Evans is a Welsh textiles artist who embraces the tactile, inviting viewers to engage with their senses and playfulness. Her artwork is made to be touched.
Inspired by materials and everyday objects and the relationships we make with them, Ffion explores sensory themes such as texture, scent, and weight within her soft sculptures. With a multisensory approach she seeks to create spaces for exploration and interaction, encouraging viewers to embrace their curiosity and engage with the artworks, finding moments of joy. Ffion wants to showcase the variety, beauty and importance textiles have within the world especially when it comes to supporting wellbeing through art.
